Lyra can do everything SolarDesignTool can do and more, with a few caveats. At this time, Lyra lacks support for energy storage, ground mounted systems, bifacial modules, and uploading custom PDF design files to be included in the permit package.

If you do a high volume of projects that require these features, we recommend that you continue to design using SolarDesignTool for the time being or get in touch with us about beta testing these features.
